Exploring the relationship between food and housing insecurity and student outcomes
This project explores the relationship between food and housing insecurity and student outcomes, using data provided from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) since 2019. The dataset included information on the level of food insecurity, the type of federal aid received, degree progress, and ethnicity. Overall, the data visualizations presented in this project provide valuable insights into the relationship between food and housing insecurity and student outcomes, which can be used by policymakers and educational institutions to develop targeted interventions and support strategies for students in need. Although more research would be needed to establish statistical relationships between the two.
